Oops, I made a mistake in a pre-reg entry. How do I remove it and start over?

So you made a mistake in the pre-reg. Not a problem we will help you fix it. These are some of the most common ways people make a mistake

I created a machine added to the wrong job site.

Simple. Follow our tutorial on moving machines between sites.

I have added the wrong information to a sample in the queue and not pressed send to the lab

Not a problem. Simply delete the entry from your queue by (A) selecting view queue and then choosing the remove button (B). You can then re-do your sample pre-reg.

I have pre-reg and pressed “send to lab” and need to redo the sample label.

Login to the portal and click on the samples in transit menu option at the top. You can see everything you have sent to the lab. We recommend you clear the start and end dates before searching just to make sure you find the sample you are after. In case you typed the K barcode number wrong (as in this example) the easiest way to find is by the drop down menu options to find the machine you registered on (C). When you find the label you want to delete tick it (D) and then press delete selected (E). You can then re-do your sample pre-reg.

I made a mistake on pre-reg and haven’t realised until I got the report back. Can I change it?

Not a problem still. You can update your sample information e.g. if you put the wrong oil hours, job number, oil brand and grade etc even after you have the report. Simply follow our visual guide on updating sample information (the second bullet point on this updating sample information guide). You can also follow our text based guide here.

I made a new piece of equipment and mistyped some of the information

No problem read our guide on updating equipment information.
